Within this document's resource file are four resources which you may easily paste into your System file to color your Windows, Controls, Dialogs, and Menus. After many changes, I think I finally came up with the perfect combination of colors which really look great together.
I have included two 'mctb' (Menu color table) resources in case you don't like the Blue menus. You may switch to the Magenta menus simply by cutting out the "Blue" resource and changing the "Magenta" resource ID to 0.
If you have the ResEdit templates to the new Mac II resources (also in this DL) you can easily modify these colors and paste different colored resources into each application you have. Changing the colors is fairly simple if you have access to the Color Picker which gives you the RGB components of the Colors displayed. Convert them to hexidecimal and concatenate in the order R-G-B. Finally, plug them into the new color resources (making sure the ID=0 for default purposes) and Mac II Colors are changed.
Kudos to Russ Wetmore for the templates to these color resources without which these changes would be much more difficult to do.
